Over the past several months, the Middle East Consultation Group (MECG) has convened across continents to promote dialogue and explore pathways to peace and stability in the Middle East.

For this, it is essential to consult with two key players known for their regional mediation and integration efforts: Jordan and Egypt.
Last week, in Amman and Cairo, the MECG met with regional leaders and experts to deepen their understanding of:
🔹 Jordan’s and Egypt’s views on the ongoing crisis and diplomatic prospects
🔹 The role of public opinion in shaping decision-making
🔹 The evolving roles of regional powers amid geopolitical developments
🔹 The influence of external actors like the US, EU, China, and others

We will issue a full report on the Middle East Consultation Group's insights later this year.
