_*Exhortation Pills: Your Gates of Bronze Shall Be Broken in Pieces!*_
_✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_
_🗓️ Day 163 (12/June/2025)_
> Isaiah 45:2 NKJV I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.
When God spoke through Isaiah in this passage, He was speaking to Cyrus, a Persian king who didn’t even know Him—but whom He had chosen to accomplish His divine purposes. God promised to go before him, clearing obstacles and even breaking through "gates of bronze." These were literal barriers to cities and kingdoms Cyrus would conquer. Yet for us today, those gates represent something more: the hard problems, strongholds, and stubborn delays standing between us and the life God has promised.
Let’s look at three ways the "gates of bronze" can show up in our lives and how God promises to shatter them:
*1. Gates of Bronze as Stubborn Challenges:* These are the long-standing issues that don’t easily bend—prolonged health issues, unyielding financial stress, or repeated family problems. Just like physical bronze gates are designed to keep intruders out, these challenges try to keep us from stepping into our promised blessings. But God declares, “I will break in pieces the gates of bronze,” assuring us that no matter how long or how hard the problem, His power is greater (Jeremiah 32:27).
*2. Gates of Bronze as Spiritual Hindrances:* Sometimes the enemy sets up barriers in the spirit realm to block our progress—through fear, doubt, demonic oppression, or generational strongholds. These spiritual “gates” seek to trap us in cycles of failure. But God is a warrior! When we stand in faith, He breaks these hindrances so we can walk in victory and freedom (2 Corinthians 10:4).
*3. Gates of Bronze as Delayed Breakthroughs:* Have you ever sensed that something is yours—but it just won’t manifest? Gates of delay are often spiritual or circumstantial forces that resist God’s timing. Yet God assures us that He not only goes before us but makes the crooked paths straight. In other words, He’s clearing the way, breaking delays, and ensuring His promises reach us (Habakkuk 2:3).
_🙏 Prayer:_
Father, thank You for going before me and breaking every gate of bronze standing in my way. I believe no difficulty is too hard for You. Break every stronghold, tear down every hindrance, and lead me into the fullness of what You’ve prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
_✝️ Are You Saved?_
Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. Believe that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as your Lord and Savior (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10).
