_*Exhortation Pills: He Gives Grace to the Humble*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 166 (15/Jun/2025)_ > ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭James 4:6 NKJV ...God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. In a world that celebrates self-promotion and pride, humility is often misunderstood as weakness. But in the kingdom of God, humility is the key to accessing divine help. God Himself stands against the proud, but He generously empowers and lifts those who walk in humility. *1. Humility Attracts God's Favor:* God is drawn to the lowly in heart. When you acknowledge your need for Him and depend on His strength rather than your own, you position yourself to receive His grace (Proverbs 3:34). Humility opens heaven’s doors. *2. Pride Shuts the Flow of Grace:* Pride is a spiritual blockade. It makes us believe we are sufficient in ourselves. But the moment we exalt ourselves above others or above God’s word, we fall out of alignment with His blessing (1 Peter 5:5). *3. The Way Up is Down:* Jesus taught that the greatest in the kingdom must become like a servant (Matthew 23:12). When we humble ourselves under God's mighty hand, He promises to exalt us in due time (1 Peter 5:6). God lifts those who bow before Him. _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, I lay down every prideful thought and attitude. Clothe me with true humility. May I always depend on Your grace and not my strength.
