Plastic pollution remains one of the most alarming environmental threats of our time. From the gutters of South Campus, through Central Campus, to the open spaces of North Campus, we witness the growing effects of plastic waste — blocking drains, littering our paths, and polluting our beautiful learning environment. But it doesn’t have to stay this way. Change is possible — and it begins with us. As students and future leaders, we must rise to the challenge. The call to “Beat Plastic Pollution” is a call to action — to rethink our habits, change our choices, and take responsibility for our environment. 💚 How can we help beat plastic pollution? •*Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle:* Cut down on waste, reuse what you can, and support recycling efforts on campus. •*Properly dispose of waste*: Use the bins provided and help keep our campuses clean. •*Be an advocate:* Educate your peers and lead clean-up initiatives across UEW. •*Support sustainable alternatives:* Choose eco-friendly options where possible. 🌿 A Greener, Cleaner UEW Starts With You.
