RBI draft new guidelines for goldloans: What is LTV (Loan-to-Value) Ratio? LTV ratio tells you how much loan you can get against the value of your gold. Example: If your gold is worth ₹1,00,000 and the LTV is 75%, you can get a maximum loan of ₹75,000. What Does the RBI’s Draft Say? The RBI (Reserve Bank of India) now wants to cap the LTV ratio at 75% for all gold loans. Earlier, during COVID-19, the limit was temporarily increased to 80% to help people.
