*MY EVENING REFLECTION*
TOPIC: *PRAY THE ROSARY EVERYDAY AND YOU WILL NEVER SINK IN THE STORMS OF LIFE...*
In a world where storms are no longer seasonal but daily, storms of depression, betrayal, temptation, family chaos, fear, confusion, and endless anxiety, we need an anchor. But more than an anchor, we need a ladder. An anchor holds you in one place, but a ladder takes you higher, out of the storm, and into divine refuge. That ladder, that divine staircase, is the Rosary. The Rosary is not just beads strung together, it is a heavenly ascent, a daily climb out of chaos into the calm arms of Christ through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mother Mary is the New Jacob's Ladder. In Genesis 28:12, Jacob saw a ladder stretching from earth to heaven with angels ascending and descending. The Rosary is that ladder renewed in our time, given by Mary, the Mediatrix of all graces, so that we may ascend, decade after decade, from sorrow into joy, from struggle into triumph, from earth into eternity. When you pray the Rosary, you are not merely reciting words; you are climbing toward salvation. Each Hail Mary is a rung on the ladder. Each Our Father is a step upward. Each mystery is a window into Heaven. This world is a sea, and many are drowning. Drowning in sin, drowning in despair, drowning in a culture that glorifies pride and mocks purity. But when you hold the Rosary, you are holding a lifeline. Mary doesn’t just throw it from Heaven; she comes down, wraps it around your wrist, and says, “My child, hold on. I will pull you through this.” Storms will come, financial storms, marital storms, health storms, but if your hands are on the beads, your soul will stay afloat. For even as Peter sank in the waves, it was the Lord who lifted him. And who better to call the Lord’s attention than His Mother, the one who said at Cana, “They have no wine,” and saw water turned into wonder.
Never forget that the Rosary is not just a ladder, it is a sword. Pope Pius IX said, “Give me an army praying the Rosary and I will conquer the world.” Saints carried it. Popes preached it. Martyrs clung to it. Why? Because the Rosary wins battles. Not just external wars, but internal wars: the war against anger, lust, greed, envy, unforgiveness, and spiritual lukewarmness.VYou may not feel strong. You may not have the words. But pick up your rosary and Heaven will fight for you. Don't wait for the storm to start climbing. You don't build an ark when it begins to rain; you build it before the flood. Climb the Rosary daily. Not occasionally. Not when you're in trouble. Daily. Make it your spiritual breath. Make it your daily habit, your sacred routine. Each day you pray, you climb higher. Each mystery you contemplate draws you nearer to the heart of Jesus. And if you fall, start again. Mary is patient. She walks with you. She pulls you up. “The greatest method of praying is to pray the Rosary,” said St. Francis de Sales. Let it be your morning light and your evening comfort. Let it be your weapon when tempted. Let it be your ladder when weary. Some people carry the Rosary like an ornament. But it’s not jewelry, it’s journey. It’s not a charm, it’s a channel. Don’t just wear it; pray it. Don’t just hold it; climb it. Let the beads slip through your fingers like a child clinging to the hand of his mother. Pray it in the car. Pray it during your walk. Pray it in silence. Pray it in tears. Let every bead bring you closer to Heaven, until, one day, Mary meets you at the top of the ladder and says: “Welcome, my child. You made it home.”
Do not fear the storm. Fear a life without prayer. Fear a soul without direction. Fear a heart without devotion. But fear not when your fingers touch the Rosary, for you are no longer sinking, you are climbing.
Your servant,
