*SHALOM* *DAY 3 -NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS* *THEME: KNOW THE HEART THAT LOVES YOU MOST* *FRIDAY - 20/06/2025* *PRAYER INTENTIONS.....* *_Wounded Yet Loving_* Today we pray for those who are wounded by betrayal, abuse, or trauma that their pain may find healing in Christ’s wounds. Today we pray for grace to love even when we are hurting, just as Christ loved from the Cross. *MEDITATION* *(Isaiah 53:5) “But he was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”* *(John 20:27) Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.”* *🎈🌾 His Wounds Speak Love* To the world, wounds mean weakness, loss, and defeat. But in Christ, wounds become the language of love, victory, and healing. When Jesus showed His wounds to Thomas, He didn’t hide them. He invited him: “Touch them. Enter into them.” Why? Because those wounds were no longer symbols of pain alone they had become open doors to mercy. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is crowned with thorns, pierced by a lance, and yet it remains a burning furnace of charity. The saints understood this. St. Bernard of Clairvaux once reflected, “The piercing of His Heart opened to us the secret of His love.” What the world saw as defeat, Heaven saw as redemption. Our lives, too, bear wounds from rejection, betrayal, abuse, failure, and grief. And sometimes, when we are hurting, we close up, thinking we can’t love anymore. But the Sacred Heart teaches us: wounded love is the most powerful love. It doesn’t ignore pain it transforms it. Jesus doesn’t ask you to erase your wounds. He asks you to let Him enter them. His wounds are a safe place for your own. And from that shared pain, a deeper love can emerge one that knows how to weep, how to endure, and how to forgive. Today, the Heart of Jesus Says, “Your scars are not the end. Come to Mine, and let’s walk together.” *In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In His Heart, we see Your mercy, Your patience, and Your desire to draw us back when we go astray. We come before You now to consecrate ourselves, our families, and our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Lord, we offer You every joy and sorrow, every hope and struggle. We unite to the Heart of Jesus all who suffer, all who search for meaning, all who feel forgotten. May His Heart be a refuge for the broken, a flame for the cold, and a compass for the lost.
