DIVINE RETREAT UPDATES AND PRAYERS

“Lord, teach us to pray.” (Luke 11:1)
That’s what the disciples asked Jesus and He gave them the greatest answer: the Our Father.
Simple enough to teach a child.
Deep enough to guide a lifetime of prayer.
The Lord’s Prayer is not just a set of familiar words, but it’s the heartbeat of the Gospel. Each line of the Our Father draws us deeper:
🔸Into relationship with God, who is not just “my” Father, but our Father.
🔸Into trust, asking for what we need: from daily bread to divine mercy.
🔸Into conversion, as we learn to forgive, seek holiness, and battle temptation.
In just seven petitions, we pray for everything:
God’s glory.
His Kingdom.
Our needs.
Forgiveness.
Strength.
Deliverance.
And in all of it ,we open our hearts to the Father who loves us more than we can imagine.
So next time you pray the Our Father, don’t rush. Let every word remind you of who God is and who you are: a beloved child, called to live in His love.
🕊️ Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done…
