Let’s talk about them. 📌 THE SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER WHO UNDERSTANDS LONG-TERM SUCCESS This is the one who: ✅ Values integrity over quick money. ✅ Knows that reputation is the currency of the digital world. ✅ Understands that loyalty to an agency or employer opens bigger doors. ✅ Knows that shortcuts today can shut off future opportunities. I had a staff who was offered money behind my back and without the knowledge of my agency and work directly with a client. Guess what? She said NO. Why? Because she values relationships and long-term growth over temporary gain. Today, she has secured bigger projects because of her integrity. The best opportunities come to those who are trustworthy. 📌 THE SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER WHO DESTROYS THEIR CAREER FOR SMALL MONEY Then, there’s the one who: ❌ Thinks they are being “smart” by cutting corners. ❌ Takes side gigs from the agency clients behind the agency that trained them. ❌ Forgets that trust and credibility are EVERYTHING in this game. I had another staff who worked with a client for three months. Two months later, I caught him. And when I confronted him, he confessed. Now, let’s be real… who will ever trust him again? No serious business will work with a staff who betrays their employer for small money. As a social media manager you must understand that.... Your reputation is your real currency. One bad move and you’ll never get big opportunities. Mind you agencies and business owners talk. If you betray one today, they all will hear it tomorrow The same shortcut you take today will block your blessings tomorrow. Loyalty and trust are what take you from managing Instagram pages to handling 7-figure brand deals.
