8 Secrets of Building a Personal Brand Now let’s talk about Your Personal Brand. First of all — What is a brand? A brand is not your logo. It’s not even what you think you are. A brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room. Let that sink in. It’s what your destiny helpers believe about you. It’s what your stakeholders repeat about you. It’s what people confidently advocate on your behalf, even in your absence. So ask yourself; What do I want people to say about me when I’m not there? That’s your brand. 1. The first secret is your personality: The first key to building a personal brand is your personality. What makes you different from the next person? Because it’s not sameness that helps you stand out — it’s your difference and uniqueness. Even if it’s your accent, your tone, your energy, or your story your uniqueness is your gift. Brother Shaggy? Sabinus? Achalugo? Bam-Bam? Odogwu paranran? They all stand out because of their distinct personalities. So what about you? Own your difference. Flaunt your story. That’s your brand. 2. The second secret is Problem & People Now let’s talk about the problem you solve and the people you solve it for. Your personal brand has to answer a question: “What am I really solving?” And remember this from Economics 101 — The demand curve slopes downwards. That means the harder the problem you solve, the fewer people you'll find solving it. And fewer competitors = higher value. So go for the complex problems. That’s where your value increases. 3. The 3rd secret is Pitch You must pitch your brand every day. There are roughly 250 working days in a year. If you pitch your product to 10 people daily that’s 2,500 people annually. If just 2% of them buy from you wala...., you have 50 new customers. Would that help your business? Absolutely yes! And here’s the secret: Pitch in front of crowds. Show up consistently. Talk about your business, a closed mouths is a closed destiny. Keep talking about what you do. Not everyone will buy, and that’s fine. But the ones who do? They’ll move your business forward. 4. The 4th secret is Product Your brand must have a product or service. Not just vibes or value; something people can buy. A product is a tangible expression of your brand. It could be a digital course, a physical item, a service… just make sure people can pay you. No product = no profit. 5. The 5th secret is Publish Before people buy, they’ll check you out. Online, the Internet is your CV. That’s why I teach: organic content marketing, learn to post or publish personal content every day. Let them see your value. Let your content speak before your pitch does. You never know who’s silently watching and ready to say YES. Personally when ever I recuirt a ny into my agency I ask for and pay attention their social media handles than their CV. Because CV can lie but their digital footprint will not 6. The 6th secret is Partnerships I need you to ask yourself: “Who already has access to the market I want?” That’s partnership strategy. You don’t have to struggle to build from scratch when someone else has the distribution you need. Let me be honest ... I have paid a lot of people who I feel and believe that my target audience exit in their audience network, their followers. And yes, I paid but I made the money back. Why? Because they have the audience I didn’t yet have access to. That’s how partnerships work. Access someone else's distribution and audience, deliver your value, and grow faster. 7. The 7th secret is Positioning Now hear me this one is key. What do you want to be known for? All my life, i have positioned myself as a sales and marketing expert, and that is what I want to occupy in your mind. I want to be known as a sales and marketing strategist and expert, business growth consultant, and automation expert. That’s my lane. That’s my name. So stop confusing your market. Pick a lane. Stick to it. Repeat it. Because repetition is persuasive. 8. The 8th secret is Prayer And finally the one most people won’t talk about is Prayer. Let me be honest.. Sales is spiritual. Business is spiritual and business is war Some customers? Can be stubborn They’re not moved by your captions. Some deals? You need to pray into them. Some proposals? You need to soak them in intercession. Every morning, I go through my sales goals and affirmations on my notepad, and I began to pray over my goals. Because me? I hustle, I plan, I pitch, I work hard and smart.. But I also PRAY. I pray daily. I pray before I do anything. I even pray every hour of the day as my relationships with the Holy Spirit (my best friend) is so intimate, and i can't do without my best friend every second of the day. Because this journey isn’t just strategy — its divine, It’s grace. It’s warfare. It’s spiritual. So don’t just grind. Don’t just post. Also Pray over all you do. God said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” So even when you feel exposed, confused, or tired Stay under Gods wings. Let God be your shield and buckler. Let prayer be your positioning in the spirit. Your weapon And let your results be powered by both grace and grit. That’s it — the 8 Secrets of Building a Personal Brand.
