Thanks Doc! A massive thank you to everyone working in our local GP Practices who are working tirelessly to meet ever increasing demand for appointments. New data shows that GP practices in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire provided a total of 618,216 appointments in April this year alone. A range of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, nurses and social prescribers now work as part of GP Practice teams. Depending on your needs, you may be offered an appointment with one of these specialists, providing the most appropriate care as quickly as possible. Many practices now allow you to book appointments online or by using the NHS app, as well as by phone. And while most appointments are still face-to-face, many practices offer online and telephone appointments too, when appropriate, which some people find better to fit in around work and other commitments.
