He reportedly threatened her with a live snake and a lizard. The incidents are said to have started in 2023 when Justice lured the woman to his home, reports B-metro. During their first encounter, he used a condom and claimed it was cursed by a traditional healer (sangoma). He kept the condom in a red cloth with their names on it and warned her that if she married someone else, her marriage would fail. Justice convinced the woman to go with him to Manyame River to "cleanse" her from bad luck after their encounters. On March 19, 2025, they went to Leisure Centre Dam, where he held a bottle containing the used condom, a snake, and a red cloth. He threw the bottle into the dam and claimed he had removed her bad omen. However, two days later, he visited her and said they had performed the cleansing incorrectly. He told her she needed to throw the bottle into the dam herself. To fix this, he said they had to have sex again, or she could do it with a lizard he had. Fearing for her safety, she chose the lizard. On March 22, 2025, she had protected sex with Justice. Afterward, he insisted they would have to repeat this process multiple times and that she could not interfere. Justice is accused of abusing the woman on several occasions in different locations, even burning her underwear and the used condoms afterward. In April, he told her that because someone saw them burning the underwear, they needed to have sex again from June 10 to June 30, 2025. When she refused, he sent her threatening messages aimed at her and her mother. This led her to report him to the police. Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the arrest, stating, “Police arrested a man in connection with rape and possession of a live snake he used to threaten the complainant. Investigations are ongoing, and he is expected to appear in court soon. The victim has been taken to Chitungwiza Central Hospital for a medical examination.”
