In a significant move to enhance security and curb the use of fake identification, the Indian Railways will now conduct *Aadhaar card verification* of passengers while trains are in motion. Ticket checking personnel will be equipped with the mAadhaar mobile app, which allows them to verify the identity of travelers in real-time. If a forged Aadhaar card is detected during checks, it will be handed over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for further legal proceedings.
