National Disability Expo Set for Victoria Falls ELLEN MLAMBO 
MIRROR REPORTER MASVINGO – The 2025 edition of the National Disability Expo will be held at Chinotimba Stadium in Victoria Falls, Matabeleland North Province, from June 25 to 27.
The annual event, which is organised by the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC), brings together organisations of and for persons with disabilities (PWDs), as well as various stakeholders from across the country. This year’s Expo will run under the theme Accelerating Disability Inclusion Now: A Collective Responsibility. Regional Representative of the National Association for the Care of the Handicapped, Purazeni Jakata confirmed the development in an interview with Masvingo Mirror. “The main objective of the Expo is to promote the participation of persons with disabilities in the mainstream economy by showcasing products and services,” said Jakata. “It’s a business forum where entrepreneurs can share ideas and experiences. We are expecting performances from musicians and poets, along with exhibitions by farmers, schools, and businesses in sectors such as manufacturing, food processing, and weaving.” The Expo serves as a national platform to promote disability rights, raise awareness, and encourage disability mainstreaming across all sectors of society.
