𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱- 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗚 𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗥 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲. ⦿ With planted questions and zero accountability, Pakistan’s military spokesperson labeled Dr. Mahrang Baloch and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) as “proxies of terrorism.” He used the word evil, not for those killing Baloch youth, but for those demanding justice. No evidence. No legal process. Just a uniformed official assigning guilt from behind a podium. And not a single so-called journalist dared to ask: Where is the proof? ⦿ The DG ISPR claimed BYC’s space has been “squeezed” and called on media to “unmask” Mahrang Baloch. But if, as he says, BYC has only 20 to 25 supporters — ask yourself: • Why was Dr. Mahrang Baloch and her colleagues jailed for two months under 3MPO — without charge or trial? • Why does the state fear the name Mahrang Baloch more than it fears its own security failures? ⦿ The question shouldn’t be about Mahrang Baloch or her comrades. The real question is about you. You are the one who must be unmasked. If the media had any courage, they would have asked: “When will you be held accountable for firing on peaceful protesters, for illegally imprisoning Baloch Yakjehti Committee leaders, for fake encounters, for operating death squads in Balochistan, for the targeted killing of journalists like Lateef Baloch? When will your crimes be unmasked?” ⦿ You can squeeze space, but you cannot erase a movement rooted in millions. BYC is not 10-20 people. It is every grieving Baloch mother. Every silenced student. Every name buried in a mass grave. Every mother whose son was returned as a mutilated body she couldn’t even recognize. Every womb you emptied. Every son you left fatherless. Every father you robbed of his child. Every wife you turned into a widow. Every protester holding a placard, not a gun. ⦿ You speak of terrorism. But we know who carries it. We’ve picked up the bodies. We’ve seen the unmarked graves. We’ve endured the kill-and-dump policy, the fake encounters, the targeted killings, the custodial tortures. What haven’t you done to the Baloch, on Baloch soil, with Baloch blood? And now, in one of the most cynical lies yet, the DG ISPR falsely claimed that Mahrang Baloch demanded the return of the bodies of the Jaffar Express attackers. ⦿ Let’s correct the record: On March 19, 2025, Dr. Mahrang Baloch held a press conference to address the harassment of BYC members by state forces. And then, Dr. Mahrang Baloch clearly responded to a journalist’s question about unidentified bodies buried in Qasi graveyard. She stated: Every family has the right to identify and claim their loved ones. Because we’ve seen how many forcibly disappeared persons are later killed in fake encounters and buried without verification. Standing with families and demanding truth is not terrorism — it is humanity. The DG ISPR’s speech wasn’t a press conference. It was a desperate performance — full of projection, free of evidence, and devoid of moral ground. If you truly believe BYC is a terrorist organization, prove it in a court of law. Bring your evidence, submit to cross-examination, and let truth speak.
