🚀 Pipe Schedule Chart
📌 What is the pipe thickness table?
It is a table that illustrates the nominal size (NPS) and thickness of the tube according to several schedules, such as SCH 10S, SCH 40, SCH 80 and others. Thickness varies in size and schedule.
🔹 Important information:
✅ Stainless steel pipes are often available in standard sizes such as the NPS SCH 10S, but they are also available in other thickness tables.
✅ Sch 40 (SCH 40) chart is the essential thickness that withstands certain stresses.
✅ Table of Thickness 80 (SCH 80) is thicker and stronger than SCH 40.
✅ For sizes up to NPS 12, the outer diameter (OD) is bigger than NPS. Example: NPS 12 = 12.75 inches (324 mm).
✅ From NPS 14 and above, NPS = OD.
💡 Extra info:
The tube thickness table ensures that the right tube is selected to withstand the required pressure and application.
