Good evening viewers, Dist. Admin. is on ground working to bring relief to flood affected families. This year just like last year, rain has wreaked havoc in our dist. There’s been critical damage to public utilities and it may take time to restore. However there’s been no loss to life which is a big relief. Even though water levels are receding I once again urge the general public to take abundant precautions against monsoon rains. Don’t venture out without requirement. The above are few pictures of rescue operations and relief camps undertaken with the help of NDRF team that came from Tinsukia. The sub division level efforts are being led by able leadership of ADCs and DDMO is on ground for the entire time. Keep safe.
