Zimbabwe Women's HPC are through to the Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament after they beat defending champions Uganda by 1 in a thrilling semi final tie. The Zimbabwean side went in to bat first and scored 93 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, setting Uganda a modest 94 run target to win. Uganda looked on course for a comfortable victory after they reached 83 for 1 in 15th over before they capitulated losing nine wickets for just nine runs. They were bowled out for 92 with five balls to spare. Caption Nomvelo Sibanda was voted player of the match for her bowling figures of 2 for 17, three runouts and a catch. She also contributed a run a ball 14 with the bat. It is a second consecutive final for Zimbabwe after they lost Uganda by two runs in the decider last year. Zimbabwe Women's HPC meet Tanzania Women in the Kwibuka T20i 2025 final this Saturday. The match is scheduled for 1.30pm at the Gahanga Main Oval in Kigali, Rwanda.
