June 11th, 2025 saw opening of the third edition of Math.Biz with an inspiring Inaugural followed by a Campus Tour, setting the stage for a collaborative academic experience. About 80 high school students across 12 states are split into two batches - ‘Small Caps’ and ‘Mid Caps’. In the first three days, students got exposed to Game Theory, Financial Mathematics and Methods of Proofs. The sessions included a series of hands-on, thought-provoking experiments that brought strategic decision-making to life. They were also introduced to key tools used in quantitative finance. A special highlight was the online lecture by Prof. Venkatesh Nagar from University of Michigan, who introduced students to Algorithmic Thinking and its connection to Artificial Intelligence, sparking curiosity about how mathematical reasoning drives modern technology. The sessions not only provided intellectual depth but also created a vibrant shared learning environment that will grow stronger in the weeks ahead. With regular assignments and daily office hours, students built a strong conceptual base in the opening days. More excitement awaits in the coming week. #mathbiz2025 #residentialcamp #mathcamp #gametheory #algorithmicthinking #finance #appliedmath
