Soft launch of 2nd Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC) held at Isb. PM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was CG on the occasion. Upon arrival, CNS Adm Naveed Ashraf received CG. #pimec2025 is scheduled to be held from 3-6 Nov 25 at Karachi Expo Centre. Speaking at ceremony, CG appreciated PN for taking initiative to exhibit the potential of Pak’s maritime sector through PIMEC. He said Pak offers enormous opportunities for profitable investments, joint ventures & trade in maritime sector. PM acknowledged efforts of PN for being at its best both when it comes to defending our sea frontiers as witnessed in MARKA-E-HAQ & promoting Pak’s maritime interests. He also highlighted Pak's maritime potential that can contribute hugely to national economy. He further added that potential of academic and R&D orgs must be incorporated for enhancing efficiency & productivity of maritime sector & hoped that avenues generated thru PIMEC will grow & bring Pak closer to cherished goals of realizing regional peace & shared prosperity. Earlier, Minister for Maritime Affairs, M Junaid Anwar expressed his sincere gratitude to CG, CNS & all worthy guests for gracing the event. He emphasized PIMEC is flagship event of Pak which will open avenues for demonstrating latest tech of national & Intl maritime industry.
