Magnesium deficiency is causing anxiety, fatigue, and numerous issues in our bodies. Yet most people are deficient and don’t even know it. You might think your magnesium levels are fine because your blood test said so. But here’s the catch: Only about 1% of magnesium is in your blood. The other 99% is stored in your bones, muscles, and cells—where it’s actually used. So how do you know if you’re deficient? Number 1 sign that shows you are magnesium deficient? *FATIGUE.* Why? Because magnesium: 1. Powers your mitochondria 2. Powers your nervous system 3. Creates ATP (your energy currency) 4. Runs every cell's sodium-potassium pump These are other warning signs you need more magnesium: • High blood pressure • Insomnia • Cramping • Twitching • Depression • Insulin resistance • Heart arrhythmias • Bone health issues These aren’t random—they’re warnings. *So how can we prevent this?* Before, I need to emphasize that there are certain habits that blocks absorption of magnesium. Even with a healthy diet, magnesium absorption can be blocked by common issues like: • Gut inflammation • Refined sugar and carbs • Alcohol or caffeine • Medications like PPIs and diuretics So even when you’re eating “healthy,” you may still be deficient. You need to take herbs that helps absorption of magnesium amd also with magnesium. Most herbs that we use to treat BP have magnesium. Including triple G and Ndorani. We used to get a good amount of magnesium from natural sources like spring or well water. But today, most water is filtered or softened—removing magnesium and replacing it with sodium. Result? Cleaner pipes, less magnesium. That quiet shift has had major health consequences. #saveaman Diaries of the General
