*Faith Revival in Dublin: Record Number of Adult Baptisms* Dublin has seen a surge in adult baptisms, with 70 individuals joining the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass—the highest recorded number in the Archdiocese. Many young adults, both native Irish and newcomers, are actively seeking a spiritual home and a sense of belonging. According to Patricia Carroll, director of the office for mission and ministry, this growing interest is fueled by catechist training programs that guide new converts on their faith journey. In May, 52 laypeople received catechist certificates, strengthening the Church’s outreach efforts. Archbishop Dermot Farrell has also acknowledged a quiet but promising faith resurgence among young adults in Dublin. Many of those baptized had previously been raised in non-religious households and are now exploring Catholicism. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is becoming more structured, allowing new believers to receive deeper guidance. Church leaders remain optimistic, seeing this trend as a sign of renewal rather than decline
