On Clinical Trials Day, May 20th, Desmond Tutu Health Foundation and the Western Cape Civil Society Research Sector hosted a community engagement workshop at the Khwezi Community Centre in Gugulethu, Khayelitsha, focused on updates in local health research. The event highlighted advances in HIV treatment, particularly long-acting injectables, and progress in TB research, especially regarding the vaccine💊💉.
