On 6 June 2025, Dr. Shibu Zachariah was honoured by the Malankara Catholic Council, UAE, with the title Bar Etho Kasiro—“The Diligent Son of the Church”—for over 30 years of faithful service among the Syro-Malankara Catholic diaspora.
