*SAUTÉED TOFU* A delicious and versatile dish that's perfect for vegetarians, vegans, and anyone looking for a protein-packed meal. *Benefits of Sautéed Tofu* * Tofu is an excellent source of protein, making it ideal for those following a plant-based diet. * Sautéed tofu can be seasoned with a wide range of herbs and spices, allowing you to experiment with different flavors. * Sautéing tofu is a fast cooking method that requires minimal preparation time. *Simple Recipe for Sautéed Tofu* _*Ingredients:*_ * 1 block firm or extra-firm tofu, drained and cut into small pieces * 1 tablespoon vegetable oil * 2 cloves of garlic, minced * 1 medium onion * 2 large tomato fruits * Salt, seasoning cubes and pepper to taste * Sliced bell peppers or chopped herbs for garnish (optional) *Instructions:* * Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. * Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. * Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Then remove and keep on the side * In the same pot add onions and tomatoes.
