What is a secret today would be obvious tomorrow. What is concealed would be revealed later. David committed adultery with Bath-sheba in the secret, but it did not remain a secret. Whatever cannot withstand publicity must be denied privacy. Whatever you would be ashamed of if revealed, must never be attempted in secret. Whatever would cause you to lose your dignity and respect if exposed must never be contemplated. Whatever would cause embarrassment to you and those who know you if made public must never be embarked upon. It is not who you are or what you do in public that determines your outcome in life. It is who you are and what you do when no one is watching. That is what determines your life's outcome. Real character is revealed in the secret, and character defines destiny.
