*FOUNTAIN OF KNOWLEDGE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.* _Sunday 1st June 2025_ _Day 150 of the year 2025_ _TOPIC_ *THE NECESSITY OF PRAYER.* _MEMORY VERSE_ *"I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy work; and that my soul knoweth right well"*_(Ps. 139:14)._ _COMMENTARY_ Prayer is necessary because it is a life changer. It was prayer and sacrifice that changed the life of Solomon; when he prayed to God in 2 Chronicles 1:7, God heard his prayer and changed his life story. Prayer, therefore, is the key to changing life and destiny. In the Scripture (Luke 18:1), Jesus told His disciples a parable that men ought always to pray and not to become cowards (faint). Prayerfulness is the answer to cowardice. It is the cure for spiritual cowardice. In order not to end as a coward in the journey and battles of life, a life of prayer is inevitable. Men also faint when they fail to pray. To faint means to expire, to lose zeal and energy. Beloved, it is prayer that makes men of audacity. A quality prayer life is the secret of 'ruggedity ’ in the spirit. In order not to be a spiritual earthworm or a spiritually crushable material, prayer is inevitable. Prayer is the backbone of spirituality. May God baptise you with a concrete prayer life in the Name of Jesus Christ. *Prophetic Instruction:* 1. Embark on a daily one hour midnight prayer in the spirit. 2.
