It always amazes me how much *intention* truly defines everything. On one hand, we see the West actively banning the hijab and niqab mocking and marginalizing those who choose to cover for the sake of Allah. And on the other hand, they openly promote and even commercialize products that so closely resemble niqab and Islamic modesty: sun-protection masks, UV-covering attire, full-sleeve gloves all meant to shield their skin, preserve beauty, and prevent tanning. They cover up but not for modesty. Not for the sake of Allah. Just to maintain a worldly standard of “beauty.” And somehow, *that* is considered acceptable. But the moment a Muslim woman observes her parda, not for fashion but for the sake of her Lord suddenly, it becomes oppression. Suddenly, it’s a problem. This contradiction exposes a deep-rooted hypocrisy. But more importantly, it unveils a powerful reminder for us: *everything depends on niyyah (intention)* and that’s why Allah ﷻ places such immense value on it. A single righteous act done purely for His sake weighs heavier in the sight of Allah than a thousand trends followed blindly. When we choose to obey Him even when the world mocks us that is when our deeds shine the brightest. SubhanAllah... They try to ban it. Yet Allah makes them unknowingly imitate it. They try to erase it. Yet He revives it in the most unexpected ways. Truly, *He is the Best of Planners.* Don’t let the glamour of the West blind you from the beauty of your own Deen. Do your research. Reflect. Wake up. We weren’t created to fit in we were chosen to stand out. Wherever you are in the world, remember: *Allah will always make the Haqq (Truth) prevail.* And if He chose you to be among those who uphold it then hold onto it with love, with pride, and with sincerity.
