*Teamwork leads to arrest of three suspects in connection with theft from motor vehicles* On Wednesday morning, the JMPD CCTV Control Room requested the help of our Specialised Crime Unit in locating a Toyota HiAce minibus that had been spotted on Beyers Naudé Drive, travelling towards the N1. The vehicle had been flagged in connection with theft of motor vehicle batteries. Our team immediately responded and, working together with Fairland SAPS and the Johannesburg Metro Police Department's Tactical Response Unit (TRU), intercepted the vehicle at Cresta Crossing. The driver and two passengers were handed over to Fairland SAPS and the vehicle was impounded by TRU. The three suspects have previous convictions for theft of a motor vehicle, murder and common robbery. Further investigations are being conducted. `#thebeaglewatchdifference`
