It is believed that the incident was an attempted vehicle hijacking. *What happened* The windscreen of a female motorist, with a female passenger in the vehicle, was smashed by a suspect at an intersection on Monkor Road. The suspect immediately fled the scene, and the victim reported the incident at a service station nearby. Soon thereafter, a client in Monkor Road requested support, stating he had detained a suspect who had been involved in an incident where a vehicle's windscreen was smashed. Upon arrival, our Officer assisted in detaining the suspect until SAPS arrived. The suspect was taken into custody.
