The Chairperson of the Private Sector Disaster Response Fund (PSDRF), Mr. Butler Phirie, welcomed executives from the Botswana Tamil Cultural Association (BTCA), who generously donated P8,001 towards the fund. During the meeting, Mr. Phirie shared the purpose and future plans of the fund, highlighting its role in supporting public education and early warning awareness campaigns, amongst others. He also encouraged BTCA to continue supporting the initiative, emphasizing that the fund is guided by strong governance principles, with transparency and accountability as top priorities. The Chairperson of BTCA expressed appreciation for the fund’s efforts and commended its impact on national resilience.
