Botswana’s private sector continues to step up for national disaster response! At the PSDRF status update and cheque handover ceremony held yesterday, 18th June 2025 at Cresta Lodge, the Private Sector Disaster Response Fund (PSDRF) celebrated over P15 million raised (P9.7M in cash) toward relief efforts and long-term preparedness. Funds are already making an impact in Botswana. Projects like repairing potholes in Gaborone, supporting malaria response, aiding vulnerable families, and more are being undertaken. Key leaders in attendance included Minister of State President Honourable Moeti Mhwasa, BB President Neo Nwako, and PSDRF Chair Butler Phirie.
