Job Code No : C71 / V31 (Status Urgent :New Opening) Japanese Tier1 Auto MNC @Sricity, Tada Core Position Details: • Role: Assistant Manager Production • Specialization: Plastic Injection Molding Process / Molding Technology • Vacancies: 1 • Reporting: Likely to Production Manager/Plant Head Qualifications & Requirements: • Education: B.E. in Plastic Technology (mandatory from CIPET, NTTF, or GTTC) • Experience: 8–13 years in injection molding, preferably in automotive manufacturing • Age Limit: 35–38 years • Languages: English (work language), Tamil & Telugu (essential for shopfloor communication) • Salary: ₹70,000 – ₹80,000/month (gross) Transportation: Available but willing to relocate to Tada is better (Bus available Sulerpeta, Tada, Gummidipundi, Janpachatram, Thirumangalam) Key Responsibilities (Job Description): 1. Team & Process Management: Lead molding team, optimize production for efficiency/quality. 2. Equipment Expertise: Maintain/troubleshoot molding machines (presses, MTCs, robots, chillers, dryers). 3. Production Planning: Develop schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets. 4. Training & Safety: Mentor staff, enforce safety protocols. 5. Cross-functional Coordination: Resolve issues with QA, maintenance, planning, etc. 6. Shift Management: Oversee smooth handovers between shifts. 7. Reporting: Submit daily production reports and analysis using problem-solving tools (e.g., 5Why, Fishbone). 8. Meetings: Conduct daily reviews and set weekly targets for engineers. 9. Compliance: Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 standards. 10. Material Expertise: Troubleshoot raw material-related defects. Technical Knowledge Required: • Process: Deep understanding of injection molding parameters, defects, and automotive plastics (PP, ABS, Nylon, etc.). • Maintenance: Basic MTBF/MTTR concepts and documentation. • Machinery: Hands-on experience with molding presses, robots, auxiliaries (chillers, dryers, MTCs). • Automotive Standards: IATF 16949 compliance awareness.
