*POSITION :TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OFFICER (TMO)* *JOB DESCRIPTIONS* Guiding traffic and management processes and road safety improvements Monitoring compliance to the relevant legislation/directives Working as part of an integrated team Working on location to assess risks and potential problems Surveying locations and recording findings Making important decisions on how best to design the layout and management of traffic systems Predicting traffic flow and potential issues on planned routes Producing daily reports recording traffic management The Traffic Management Officer will be responsible for reporting all traffic-related incidents and accidents, as well as investigating and documenting their causes. submit all accident reports to the Engineer and liaise with local Traffic Police on all matters affecting public road use during construction and the diversions provided along the route. Design oversight for the production of roadway, lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic signals and traffic management system design plans. *QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering. Must have A driver's license. 6years of Experience working in construction projects in similar work. Paid up member of Malawi Engineering Institution (MEI) Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects. Great written and verbal communication skills. A willingness to learn.
