#kenya: *KENYA TO HOST 2024 CHAN FINALS AT MOI INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CENTRE* Kenya is set to host the final match of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in Nairobi on August 30, 2025. This is part of a historic East African co-hosting effort with Tanzania, Uganda, and Zanzibar. The tournament will run from August 2 to 30, 2025, showcasing top-tier talent from domestic leagues across Africa. The opening match is scheduled for August 2 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, followed by a third-place playoff in Kampala, Uganda, with Group A matches in Nairobi featuring Kenya, Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia. This marks CHAN’s return to East Africa for the first time since Rwanda hosted it in 2016. It’s also a major dress rehearsal for the AFCON 2027, which the same countries will co-host.
