Having an environment that facilitates the life you want to live is always more effective than exercising your willpower to behave well in the wrong environment. Your willpower is like a muscle; it gets tired after a while. Samson didn’t want to tell Delilah the source of his power. Instead of parting ways with a woman who clearly seeks his fall, he trusted his willpower to handle the situation. He fell to her constant vexation.
