Highly Cherished, scripture equates the effect of laziness to that of wastefulness. It says, _*“He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.” Pr. 18.9.*_ Like Bishop Oyedepo would say, “Brothers have the same inheritance”. If you work very hard but can’t manage what you produce, your hard work is rendered null and void. The Word said, _*“The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.” Pr. 12.27.*_ Ultimately, the result of this weakness is poverty. Now, what can be said of a people who suffer both diseases? They are both lazy and wasteful. Their poverty is irredeemable. Sadly, many times, that’s us. No wonder our poverty has become dynastic.
