Unlocking Leadership and Economic Potential for Young Women: A Special Event at NUST
In just six days, the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) will ignite a transformative discussion on gender equity and economic empowerment at the "Young Women 4 Economic Development – The Land Tenure" event. Scheduled for June 25, 2025, this vibrant forum will showcase the crucial role of young women in fostering economic growth, with a specific focus on land access and resources.
Dr. K.R. Tagwirei, CEO of Sakunda Holdings and Chairperson of the Land Tenure Implementation Committee, will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honor. Known for his commitment to socio-economic advancement, Dr. Tagwirei will illuminate the intersections between land tenure and women's leadership. His insights promise to inspire and challenge attendees to rethink the boundaries of women's economic roles.
The lineup of speakers is nothing short of impressive. Cde M Machacha, the National Political Commissar, will emphasize the necessity of political support for women's economic participation. Meanwhile, Hon. J. Ncube, the Minister of State for Bulawayo, will discuss regional initiatives that raise women's visibility in the economic arena. Adding a technological edge, Hon. A.
