The #sarovarsamriddhi initiative by NITI Aayog commenced the rejuvenation of Sadalpur Talab on 15th May 2025, located in Sadalpur Village, Zirapur Aspirational Block, Rajgarh District, Madhya Pradesh. This strategic intervention will foster comprehensive water sustainability measures for the village. सरोवर समृद्धि, Rejuvenation of 1,000 Water Bodies (RWB) is a NITI Aayog intervention aimed at ensuring local water security and sustainable water management. This initiative focuses on reviving traditional lakes, ponds, and tanks to enhance groundwater recharge, support agriculture, and bolster community livelihoods. Emphasizing community participation and technological interventions—such as desilting, pollution control, and afforestation—#jalsamriddhi seeks to restore ecological balance and resilience.
