*Enhancing Climate Data Integration for India’s Financial Sector* NITI Aayog, in partnership with Vasudha Foundation, organised "The Bankers" Roundtable on the India Climate & Energy Dashboard (ICED) on 13th June 2025 in Mumbai. The roundtable chaired by Sh. Rajnath Ram, Advisor (Energy), NITI Aayog, served as a focused stakeholder consultation to mainstream climate and energy data in India's financial ecosystem. With key participation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) providing updates on the Reserve Bank-Climate Risk Information System (RB-CRIS) and several leading public and private banks, discussions centered on leveraging ICED for climate-informed credit decisions, enhancing climate data accessibility, bridging gaps in climate-risk assessment and scaling up green finance flows. These deliberations mark a critical step in enabling platforms like ICED to support India’s financial sector in achieving the country’s climate goals.
