☁️ *Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord* ☁️ Today we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, when Jesus, after appearing to His disciples for 40 days, was taken up into heaven in glory. ✝️ As He ascended, He did not leave us behind—He lifted our humanity with Him, opening the way to eternal life and promising the gift of the Holy Spirit. “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…” (Acts 1:8) The Ascension is not an ending, but a new beginning. Christ entrusts His mission to us—to go forth with courage, joy, and hope, proclaiming the Gospel to the ends of the earth. 🌍🔥 As "Pilgrims of Hope," may we lift our eyes to heaven and our hearts to the mission. Let us walk in confidence, knowing that Christ goes before us, intercedes for us, and will return in glory. Risen and ascended Lord, send us Your Spirit, and make us bold in love and witness! 🙏
