In that humble home, the joy of the Gospel leapt forth—literally—as John the Baptist stirred in his mother’s womb, and Elizabeth cried out, “Blessed are you among women!” (Luke 1:42) Mary’s visit was more than a kind gesture; it was a mission of love, service, and profound faith. In her Magnificat, she proclaims the greatness of the Lord—not from a throne, but from the heart of a woman who believed that God lifts the lowly and fills the hungry with good things. As "Pilgrims of Hope," may we learn from Mary to carry Christ joyfully to others—especially those in need—and to rejoice in the quiet, everyday ways God is at work in the world.
