السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
My dearest Ustazah, 💐
I’ve been reflecting on how even psychologically, patience protects our brain.
There are 2 techniques which helps in controlling our initial urge but rule is the same as you said
صبر صبر کرنے سے ہی آتا ہے ۔
1. *The 90-second pause method*
Ustaza in this, after an emotional trigger we just need to pause for 90 seconds on the timer. This allows the mind to calm down before reacting, and builds strength in decision-making. All our peak emotions are usually for 90 seconds if we don't over feed them.
2. Just like we train our body, we can train our *“patience muscle”* daily by delaying small urges. These tiny habits slowly build emotional control.
Instead of waiting for an angry moment to come, we can practice that by delaying gratification.
What I usually practice is, I delay my urge to check msgs at times when the phone is vibrating.
Or I delay my urge to eat something I really want for some time.
It helps building patience Muscle.
Jazakillahu khayran my dearest Ustazah for the deep and practical tips on daily basis.
It's like food and nourishment for my soul.
Wassalam,
Khushboo
