Good morning family 🌞 *🌟 Freedom from Anger 🌟* "You have heard that it was said to your ancestors, *You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.* But I say to you, *whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment…*” (Matthew 5:21–22) ✝️ Jesus’ teaching goes beyond the Old Testament laws, calling us to radical holiness and deep love for others. ❤️ He reveals three levels of sin stemming from anger: 1️⃣ Interior anger 😡 a hidden resentment within the heart. This, Jesus says, makes us liable to judgment ⚖️. 2️⃣ Expressed contempt 🗣️ – saying “Raqa,” a derogatory word, degrading another’s worth. This sin brings accountability before the Sanhedrin. 3️⃣ Harsh condemnation🔥 – calling someone a “fool,” damning their soul. This results in fiery Gehenna, a grave consequence. 🌿 *Do you struggle with anger?* Jesus desires to set us free from every level of resentment and bitterness. Anger often tempts us to react harshly in lashing out. But is this burden truly worth carrying? 🤔 🌞 *True freedom lies in forgiveness!* Though it may feel like a loss to let go of anger, Christ’s command is not a burden it’s a gift of peace. 🕊️ Holding onto anger hurts us more than it harms others. It weighs down the soul, keeping us from full unity with God. 💖 Today, reflect on your heart. See anger as the real enemy, not the person who wronged you. Pray for grace to release resentment, seek forgiveness, and walk in freedom. Jesus calls you to Love, not condemnation. 🙏 *A Prayer for Healing:* *"My merciful Lord, You call us to perfect freedom from all that burdens us. Anger burdens us. Help me to see its weight and seek true peace through forgiveness and reconciliation. Please forgive me, dear Lord, as I forgive all who have hurt me. Jesus, I trust in You this reflection inspire you toward healing, peace, and love*! 💕🙌 😊
