Ukraine’s accession to the EU could lead to a GDP increase of up to 26%, making it the primary beneficiary of integration. At the same time, neighboring countries — Poland, Hungary, and Lithuania — would also benefit, though to a lesser extent, with projected GDP growth of 0.13–0.17%. Currently, Ukraine's level of economic development is comparable to that of Romania at the time of its EU accession in 2007, according to Rzeczpospolita.
