When Jesus saw Nathaniel approaching He said of him "Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit"
"How do you know me" Nathaniel asked? Jesus answered, "I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Phillip called you"
John 1:47-48
In the Gospel of John, we see an astonishing conversation between Nathaniel and Jesus.
When Nathaniel approached Jesus, he was surprised to hear that Jesus already knew him.
This encounter between Nathaniel and Jesus reminds us that God sees and knows us intimately. Nathaniel was amazed that Jesus knew him before they even met.
The truth is God has always known us even before we we born. He knows every thought, every fear and every dream we have.
Sometimes it can be easy to think that we are alone in our struggles. But the truth is, God is always with us,watching over us and guiding us.
We need to trust that God sees us and knows us, even if we feel invisible or forgotten.
In our daily lives, as we navigate through challenges and struggles, it is important to remember that we are not alone.
So let us take comfort in knowing that the all-seeing eye of God is upon us. Let us trust in His goodness and faithfulness, and let us strive to live our lives in a way that reflects our faith in Him.
Dear God, thank you for seeing us and knowing us intimately.
Help us to trust in your guidance and to take comfort in your presence.
When we feel lost, remind us that you are always with us, and that you will never leave us.
May we live our lives in a way that pleases you that pleases you, and may we always strive to deepen our relationship with you.
In Jesus's name I pray. Amen
🙏
