During a press conference held today at the ICAR Convention Centre, NASC Complex, New Delhi, the Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, marked the successful culmination of the ‘Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’, conducted from 29th May to 12th June 2025. He highlighted the campaign’s unprecedented scale, reaching over 1.43 lakh villages and directly engaging 1.34 crore farmers across the country. Emphasizing its transformative impact, the Hon'ble Union Minister noted how the Abhiyan effectively bridged the gap from ‘Lab to Land’ through 60,281 grassroots programmes. The initiative also identified over 500 researchable issues, more than 70 policy recommendations and over 300 farmer-led innovations—laying a strong foundation for future agricultural reforms. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan affirmed that the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan is not a standalone effort, but the beginning of a sustained movement towards One Nation – One Agriculture – One Team for a Viksit Bharat. #viksitkrishisamriddhkisan
