Today marks the fifth consecutive day of protest by the family of Ghulam Jan Baloch, a serving police constable and resident of Saami, District Kech, who was forcibly disappeared by personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) on May 27, 2025 from Turbat city.
The family has been blocking the CPEC road at Shapuk Omari Khan since June 11, demanding Ghulam Janโs immediate and safe return. Despite the protest entering its fifth day, authorities have failed to respond or take any meaningful action, reflecting a broader pattern of impunity surrounding enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) stands in solidarity with the family of Ghulam Jan and calls for his immediate release.
