Last week, AAHOA Officers met with key elected officials in Washington, D.C., to advocate for legislative priorities that directly impact our members and the hospitality industry. One of our top priorities is the LIONs Act (H.R. 1893 & S. 901), which would amend the Small Business Act to increase the maximum SBA 7(a) loan amount from $5 million to $10 million. This important legislation would provide greater access to capital for small business owners, especially hoteliers, and strengthen opportunities for growth in today’s challenging economic environment.
