Shaikh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah, رحمه الله: ❝It is not the rights of the parents to force the boy to marry someone he does not like. If he refuses, he won't be considered as disobedient. If there is no one who can force him to eat a thing which he dislikes, especially when he has the ability to choose and decide what he wants to eat, then the case of marriage is like that, rather (his decision) has more importance.❞ [Majmoo` al-Fataawa of Ibn Taymiyyah (33/30)]
